Presentation
I create worlds for the spectator to enter; immersive worlds that require time, presence, and interpretation. For me, the spectator’s experience is a vital part of the art, built through openness, layering, and ambiguity.
My art practice moves between large-scale paper, textile, and installation, as well as intimate artist books, allowing engagement through both spatial and tactile experiences. While my works are often perceived as paintings, they are created using experimental, painterly screen printing techniques that play with the ambiguity between unique objects and the printed mark.
A specific title or concept — such as Night/Day or Apocalypse — functions as a hook to approach my larger themes; time, dualism, the ephemeral, and the human condition. My work process is the vehicle for this inquiry: a playful, hands-on process where making is integral to thinking.
Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, I hold a Master’s in Textile Art (HDK-Valand, 2024), following earlier studies in art. I have held over twenty solo exhibitions and completed more than a dozen public art commissions. My work is represented in institutional collections in Sweden and abroad, and I have participated in the Nordic Contemporary Print Triennial (2020) and Open Art, Scandinavia’s largest public art biennial (2019).
