Nils Agdler

Inspired by the life and philosophy of Arne Næss, I have created a mythological creature in The Glider – a male exploring the principles of inclination and friction.In the winter he is dwelling in ancient mountain birch forest, close to the tree line. He shuns exploited lands and interacts gently and lustfully with the more-then human.

On May 4th at 10 pm, I had a screening for a selected audience in Ullådalen, Åre. GLIDE is a two-channel film installation (20 min, HD-video) projected on snow in a "ski-in cinema". In the winter of 2025, the installation will be shown in a similar way to a larger audience.
